We had a great first day of camp! Our groups, the Fantastical Thunderbolt-Flamed Dogodiles (Kate’s group), C.Z.B.C.E.F.G. (Izzy’s group) and the Lightning Ninjas (Calder’s group), jumped right into the flow of camp. Campers learned the rules and got participated in different group activities such as sports, crafts, and outdoor living skills. Favorite choices today were football, rowing, and hiking.
Of course, there was also a lot of fishing happening! Additionally, campers also made origami lanterns and learned some important knots such as the square knot. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring!
