Lindsey Jones

Office Manager

Lindsey has been working year-round at Roughing It for 8 years.  This year, Lindsey transitioned from Registrar to Office Manager, where she oversees the camp office operations and business side. She lives in Concord with her daughters who have come to camp for many years. Her youngest, Amelia will be a CILT this summer and Maddison graduated high school this year. Lindsey is known for her attention to detail, friendly customer service, and distinct English accent on the phone

Reyna Cruz

Family Coordinator

As Family Coordinator, Reyna communicates with our camp families and ensures new camp families have everything they need for their first experience at Roughing It. She works part-time year-round and is returning for her 6th year.  Reyna lives in Concord with her husband and family.  Her two children will be back at camp this summer, one in the Boys 4th grade and one in the Junior High Girls groups. Many families have met Reyna at the Parent Orientation Webinars or talked with her on the phone this spring and know her friendly personality.  Reyna is a positive problem solver and happy to talk with camp parents this summer to make sure camp runs smoothly for them and for all our campers

Jessi Price

Camp Registrar

Jessi joined our year-round Roughing It team in February 2023. She jumped right in during the busy camp enrollment session helping Lindsey get campers registered and ready for camp. She lives in Walnut Creek with her husband and 3 children.  Her son will be at camp in the Boys 2nd grade group and he is so excited to spend the summer at Roughing It.  In their free time, they love to watch Marvel movies, play at the park, and cheer on the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers!

Anna Henning

HR Assistant

As an HR Assistant, Anna focuses on lead generation, interviewing, and onboarding for Roughing It Day Camp summer staff. She has been working part-time year-round since January 2024. She graduated from CSUMB with a degree in Environmental Studies. Anna was a 6th grade teacher and has worked at a camp as an Outdoor Education Coordinator. She enjoys trail running, surfing, and camping in her free time.

Malcolm Caminero

Media Support

University of Southern California — Journalism

As media support for Roughing It, Malcolm is behind the scenes taking amazing pictures and videos of the camp experience. Malcolm attends USC where he studies Journalism. Malcolm has experience with sports photography, creating video content, host a radio show, and reporting on current news events. Malcolm also worked with Jumpstart, a preschool program focused on reading literacy. We are so glad to have Malcolm on our staff this summer to help us share the camp memories created!

Caleb Pappas

Program Support

Chico State

As program support for Roughing It, Caleb is a vital asset to the behind scenes of what makes camp work.  He organizes and  brings supplies to camp, sets up shade structures and assists in the transportation and safety in the parking lot. He is from Concord and goes to Chico State. He was the defensive team captain for lacrosse at Northgate High School. Caleb is the backbone of camp! Caleb is always ready to jump in where we need him during the camp day.

Cami Yount

Office Assistant

New York University

Cami is joining us for her first year on staff this summer, but is a veteran camper! Cami’s experience at camp as a camper and CILT is a great addition to our team. Cami is attending NYU and has worked on both her Highschool and College Newspaper bringing her experience with journalistic writing. She also enjoys doing photography! We are excited to have Cami in the office bringing the camper perspective!

Liz Nadolny

Office Assistant

Liz is joining us for the summer on our support team, as an Office Assistant. Liz attended Mills College where she earned two Bachelor degrees and her MBA. She also has experience as a manager at the Tuolumne City pool along with being a certified lifeguard. Liz’s extensive knowledge in technology, graphic design, and sales is a great asset to the summer team!
