Here are newsletters from the 4th Session of Outdoor Explorers:
Dear OE Parents,
This week the 3rd and 4th graders have been having a blast this week! We’ve proudly named ourselves the Squishy Squirmy Squirrels and had fun decorating and hiding our flag.Mississippiand playing with hacky-sacks have quickly become group favorites! We’ve also spent our time fishing, rowing, learning how to useGPS’s to go geocatching, and making crafts among other things! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the week!
Go Squishy Squirmy Squirrels!

Hey Outdoor Explorer Parents!
We’re having a great week here at Roughing It! Our team name is the Ranger Squirrels, and we started out the week by decorating our team flag, and hiding it somewhere at the Res. So far, four flags have been found, but we hid ours so well that no one has spotted ours yet! We’re doing so many fun activities this week, from fishing and rowing to playing Mississippiand learning how to make lanyards. We also won an award on the very first day! The Ranger Squirrels were great team players during sports, and Coach M gave us the group of the day awards! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store. We’re going to have so much fun!

Dear Outdoor Explorer Parents,
Our group is small this week, but the Four Musketeers are having a great time. Fishing has become one of our favorite group activities, whileMississippiand statues have been our favorite group games. Everyone has been really great at participating this week and we found a super awesome hiding spot for our group flag. While we haven’t found any other group’s flags, we still have high hopes! We are looking forward to the rest of the week’s activities which include hikes, theme days, olympics, and so much more!
