Outdoor Explorer Week 3 News:
Hello Outdoor Explorer Parents!
This week has started off perfectly! Your 5th and 6th graders have proudly named themselves the Pink Fluffy Unicorns, a name that has been a hit with our whole camp! Your campers have impressed me with their inclusion of everyone in the group and with their positive attitudes! So far this week, we have made a team flag and cheer, gone fishing (where we caught two fish in one outing!), built a tent, and learned how to throw a perfect spiral with a football! During choice, some campers went rowing, some made cool crafts like lanterns and paper, and some went on an animal tracking hike where they saw six deer and three lizards! We are having a great time together and looking forward to the rest of the week!

Hey Outdoor Explorer Parents!
We’re having a great week here at Roughing It! We started our week by choosing our team name, the Lightning Fast Tigers! We had an awesome time making our team flag, and hiding it somewhere super secret! So far, no other groups have found it! We’ve been having a great time fishing, rowing, and making crafts; and we even won group of the day at Environment! Some of our campers have gone on a scavenger hunt, some of us learned to make homemade paper, and others have had a great time hiking! Everyone has been an amazing team player and there is so much positive energy in the group.
Let’s go Lightning Fast Tigers!!

OE 3/4 Parents,
This week at Roughing It has been a great time! We proudly named ourselves the Radioactive Electric Eels and have great group spirit! Everyone has a positive attitude and brings so much energy to the group. Some activities we’ve done are outdoor cooking (we made pizza), fishing, crafts, various hikes, sports, rowing, and other adventures. We also have been spending our time hiding the flag we made and looking for other groups’ flags! This week will be a highlight of my summer and hopefully every one of my camper’s as well!
