Hey Outdoor Explorer Parents!
Our group has creatively named ourselves S.Y.P.P.C.P.R.B.’s! Your child might tell you what that stands for if you ask, it’s a mouthful! We have had so much this week together! We’ve been spending our time getting to know each other by decorating our flag, playing games, fishing, doing crafts, and so much more. Our team flag was a great bonding experience for us; each person decorated the letter/word they chose for our name. Everyone is getting along wonderfully and our group spirit is amazing!
Can’t wait to meet you all on Friday!

Hey Outdoor Explorer Parents!
It’s American spirit week this week, and the first and second graders have had so much fun celebrating! In honor of our country’s colors, we chose the “Super Red Lions” as our team name, and we added red, white, and blue colors to our flag! We’ve gone fishing with fisherman David and made some cellophane fireworks with the crafts counselor, Lanyard Liz! But as always, every camper’s favorite time of the day is choice. This week, some of our campers have gone on a rowing scavenger hunt, learned new camping skills, and learned to make beaded animals! We’ve had a great week here at Roughing It! It’s been an adventure!
