Today was filled with many fun activities. Campers did a lot of fishing down on the docks. Many explorers reeled in fish and/or crawdads making for lots of action and excitement for Fisherman Josh and myself!

Many other activities were occurring in addition to fishing. Campers made some crafty creations with Kate and learned how to navigate around the reservoir using a compass. Andrew worked with his group at outdoors where they were learning knots. All of his campers mastered the square knot and slipknot; they then moved on to more complicated knots such as the bowline.
Campers who signed up to do sports today got to practice their softball skills. I had the pleasure of watching Ethan at the plate. I was amazed as he switched to bat with his non-dominant hand and crushed a couple of wiffle balls into the outfield. Very impressive!
We can’t wait for Wednesday!
