This is a great opportunity for new families to see our site and try some camp activities. Kids can try out fishing, crafts, nature & field games. Families can take a tour of the beautiful Lafayette Reservoir. Meet our directors, Ann and Hobie, and some of our great staff. View a Camp Show and see what a typical day of camp is like. Friends and family members of all ages are welcome.

Checking In
Check in at our greeter table to get a schedule of activities. All areas are supervised by our staff, so families can do activities together or separately. Drop in anytime for crafts, nature, and field activities.  Fishing sessions run every half hour and tours run every 20 minutes, and you can sign in early to guarantee your spot in a tour/session.

Parking at the Lafayette Reservoir

There is plenty of all-day parking and limited metered parking at the Reservoir. Day parking is $6 cash. Meters are a quarter every 15 minutes.

Where to Meet
Park at the far left end of the parking lot. Walk up the paved road toward the playground structure. Our greeter table is in the grass field on the right.  Look for staff in gold shirts.

What to Wear
Dress for the outdoors! Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers or hiking shoes. Bring a jacket or raincoat if rain or wind is in the forecast. Dress children in clothing for play.
